This latest version of an old favourite the Adapt-A-Cap Ultimate, now includes a drawstring and toggle allowing the fabric to remain up over the nose maintaining maximum sun, wind and glare protection for the lips and nose but loose enough for comfort. Combined with a wide anti-glare visor, in- built sweatband, and easy flip -over design for varying weather conditions – WHY WEAR ANYTHING ELSE? It is one size fits most and has an adjuster on the back of the cap to tighten it if required.

This hat is extremely well designed for sun, wind, and comfort. Aside from the obvious features, it is more comfortable than I expected when across my face - the fabric is thinner and lighter than I imagined (but still sun proof) and when across my face I forget about it rapidly and am unbothered by it being there. If there is a light breeze it is enough to feel I am getting enough airflow for breathing (no doubt less would be fine, but I am easily bothered). Its lightweight fabric will also help with coolness in hot weather, and there are vents and netting in the top part of the hat to help with that also (still sun protected). The hat fits me comfortably (small to medium head, 55.5cm at widest part) and doesn't press on my ears. The elastic across my face is light and so easy to adjust I often do it one handed. The hat stays on in very strong winds (mostly it stays completely on; I did have it shift once in an especially strong gust, but it still remained in my head as the fabric stops it getting further). I bought it for hiking and so far I absolutely love it and it has been replacing my previous favourite hat for regular walks near my house.
